Completed in December 2022, Chalet Grand-Duc is a most recent addition to the Morzine - Avoriaz luxury chalet scene. The location of the chalet was carefully chosen to achieve a real sense of alpine space whilst remaining within easy reach of amenities - seclusion without isolation.
The chalet is ideally positioned to access the highest skiing the Portes du Soleil has to offer, located on the way to the Ardent cable car (direct access to the Avoriaz ski area) in Morzine's sister village of Montriond. A free shuttle bus to the Ardent lift now runs along the quiet lane in front of the chalet, with a stop ~250m away, or slope runs can be arranged via local partners.
The chalet's aspect seeks to make the most of its stunning panoramic views and south-west facing exposure. Built as a traditional timber frame chalet, only the highest quality natural materials have been used to blend traditional alpine charm with contemporary design.
